FIX239 Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 3, 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FIX239 web platform ("Service", "Platform"), connecting property owners in Southwest Florida with independent local specialists and licensed trade contractors.
1. Platform Role & Independent Contractor Status
FIX239 operates as a technology and communication platform facilitating service discovery, work order dispatch, and verified messaging. Contractors and service pros listed on the Platform are independent contractors and not employees or agents of FIX239. Contractors maintain sole responsibility for holding and renewing all mandatory Florida DBPR licenses, municipal permits, and commercial general liability insurance policies required by Florida law.
2. Service Requests & Estimates
Estimates generated via our interactive cleaning wizards or service calculators represent good-faith estimates based on user-provided inputs and are subject to on-site scope verification. Property owners agree to provide accurate site access, square footage, and condition details.
3. Limitation of Liability & Florida Governing Law
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, FIX239 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from independent contractor performance. All claims shall be adjudicated exclusively in the state courts of Lee County, Florida.
By providing your telephone number and email address on FIX239, you consent to receive automated and transactional SMS notifications and email updates regarding your service requests, contractor assignment, and arrival notices from +1 (239) area code lines via Twilio and verified @fix239.com routing. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel SMS alerts. Reply HELP for assistance.
Contractor DBPR license numbers published in capability profiles are self-reported by the provider until verified against the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation registry (myfloridalicense.com). Homeowners are advised to confirm active status prior to executing contracts for regulated trades (roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural work).
